artist statement
| ARTIST STATEMENT |
As an artist I am drawn to rich colors, strong graphics and scenes that intrigue and excite me. Whether it's a store window with reflections that carry my eye back and forth between the mannequins on the inside and the people on the street... or beautifully displayed vegetables in a local market in Paris or people enjoying the model boat pond in Central Park...my photos convey a you-are-there feeling. The slices of everyday life throughout my work reveal my love of architecture, fashion, the market place and beach and country life. I create photographs that combine my feelings for color, interesting justapositions and humor... and my deep passion for photography into images that I hope make you stop and look twice.
